The empire of my soul

I have never been traumatized by injustice
I have not been amused to death either.
Ever since I allowed my soul to get better of me,
I feel as free as a bird
whose shackles have been broken.

My life can't be explained within
the constraints of the twenty-six alphabets
neither can it be lived
on lands amidst the seven oceans.
It reaches miles along the sea and fathoms beneath it too.

It reaches everywhere, where light can go
Above the stars and over the horizon
there is so much to explore.
I am the flame and my soul is the wind
I can't live without it, nor can I die.

I have seen the graves and the cradles,
heard cries as well as songs of joy
I have played melancholies and melodies alike
I have seen the doves fly up above
and seen the dried leaves fall aside.

I have thrown a pebble in a pond
and sobbed in a corner all alone
I have asked my mind all sorts of questions
and answered them all, by my own.
All this, and more, is the empire of my soul.

The Empire of your soul, this is a lovely piece and portrays a deep belief in the driving force behind a person, and for you to put it down for us to enjoy was great, and I thank you for that. A lot of my pieces are from that place deep inside, which is sometimes used as a message centre for the Spirit world. They love to play and in play love, one of my tasks is to portray their ways to others here on this Earth plain through writing, and they have supplied the words and the scenery for the writing and sometimes bring in some of their big messengers. I know that I should write more as they have said but I am a little lazy in that area, The Great Bear pieces are some of the things and The Golden Key in the Neopoet story section, but the Golden Key didn't come out right, so have rewritten it as Grandad, anyway this is about your piece so, it was great and keep listening to the Empire, Yours Ian.T

Ian..

I would love to read more of your work from the 'spirit world'. Sometimes I am amazed by the influence that 'experiences' have on molding a person. Ofcourse we all are born with something special, but time has such a big role in making us what we become eventually. I would like to discuss more about it, and perhaps you should really write more on this (as they tell you to). Don't be lazy :-) Best regards Samaira

The Empire Of My Soul.

A very inspirational and hopeful write Samaira.. I enjoyed it so much. Makes one determined and strong to believe in himself... And I am happy that you could find the answers to all your questions, poor me :( "I have asked my mind all sorts of questions and answered them all, by my own." As I think, humans can control and endure every bad time or any calamity as long as they believe in theirselves... until they dont lose hope. Sincerely, Wafi

Very true

Hello Wafi, I completely agree with you that humans can survive anything if they want to. Everything is inside, and we waste time seeking it outside and expecting from others. And about the questions that I answer by my own.. well, as soon as I find an answer, life changes the question :-( so I have to start all over again. The most important thing is to realise that nobody can be perfect and this imperfectness is what makes us human. Otherwise we would have been God ! However, we must constantly try to improvise ourselves because every person has atleast one good quality that we don't have, and we should try to find it. I guess I got too philosophical about this... Best wishes to you. Cheers Samaira
