Cannabis

Colin kept his cannabis concealed inside his shorts

Said smoking spliffs would help him, consolidate his thoughts

Colin claimed that unconstrained his mind could wander free

To prove his point he smoked a joint and risked his liberty

The policemen came a running as he smoked a triple skinner

He had no time to finish it, he should have rolled it thinner

Soon after at the station he was stripped and searched and booked

Colin thought he’d had his chips and that his goose was cooked

The copper said “now Colin, as it’s such a tiny portion

We’ve decided not to charge you but, release you with a caution

But bear in mind if you get caught with cannabis once more

You’ll find yourself in prison, mate, locked up behind a door”

He strolled out of the station as pleased as pleased could be

They could have locked him up inside and thrown away the key

So now he’s much more cautious when he has his drug of choice

And every time he rolls a joint he hears that coppers voice

Just one night in the police cells had changed this young mans life

For the copper who arrested him is soon to be his wife

Lucky Colin

Who said old dogs couldn't learn new tricks. Had a chuckle with this, good stuff. Craig

Very Lucky Indeed

Seems like Colin is interested in the Doors of Perception, as many of us tend to be. Hunter S. Thompson put it best when he said, "In a closed society where everybody's guilty, the only crime is getting caught."

sadly, there is only so much

sadly, there is only so much expansion that the mind can cope with before it goes pop. Thanks for reading. Regards John
