Life Is Good

Let me tell y'all something
Right now, at this moment in time
Life is good
Working hard for the money, reaping what I sow
Life is good
Working towards my degree
A Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
Life is good
Now let me tell you something else
In the past, back in the day
My skies were grey
In the past
Life wasn't so good
Picked on, stomped on, treated like shit
I gotta tell y'all
Life was the pits
It's all good now though
Because I got one more thing to say
The best thing about hard times is that they don't last forever
Heartache is temporary, but love heals all wounds
What goes around comes around
Things get better
Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together
Tough times don't last; only tough people
So if you learn nothing else, remember this
Though things may suck at the present moment
Know that eventually you'll be able to say again
Life is good

Here here Ginny

I understand, I understand. I have been here too, as many of us probably have, being sensitive poetic morons!! But in our intensity of living we get to experience the most terrible and the most wonderful to a heightened degree, more devastating and exquisite than some, so we just have to hang on to the handle bars and ride it out to reach the heavenly bliss of happiness at last. Some have it the other way round and some don't have the bliss at all and for those we pine and sympathise. If born, for instance, in a war zone, never getting out of it must be a strangely sad existence, yet if given the gift of sight, we can all stop and see the dawn, or hear the music that is latent everywhere all the time, reach out of our petty human existence and feel the spirit of happiness.
