A beautiful acrostic Beki. Loved reading it. “Nothing gets taken for granted” You say so much in this one line Beki, seems quite philosophical to me(I read it in a different context). And I can see it, from this poem, how a simple conversiation about a birthday poem can inpire a beatiful piece like this. Sincerely, Wafi

I think the poem was intended to be quite philisophical, I wrote it after I made a vow to be more vigilant in love, tied in with a growning acceptance that I am 'deserving' of it, we all are.
