Follow the Rainbow

Hoping
that some day
someone
will notice
the sunshine

recognise
the beauty

acknowledge
the light

feel the love
see the life

hear the hopes
share the dreams

follow the rainbow

discover me

In Welsh, rainbow is Pont y

In Welsh, rainbow is Pont y Glaw [bridge of rain] and is thus associated with the transition from light, through shadow, and back into light again. The journey itself is thought to be a magical voyage of discovery [thus the rainbow]... so the wish in your final line is sure to come to fruition. Who could resist the adventure with such a prize at rainbow's end? Your poem is wonderfully compact and beautifully articulated Mike "not all matterings of mind equal one violet" ~ e e cummings ~
