SILENT LULLABY

Heard only by the dying
As the angels softy sing

Their lullaby to lure the soul
Into eternal sleep

Loved ones keep a bedside vigil weep
Cannot see the soul come forth

To leave the weary flesh behind
To rise to glory, their journey done

We never really die, so do not grieve
We only move on to happiness, rejoice

Linda,

I've always seen death as the peace of sleep, and you conveyed that to me in this piece. Well done!! thanks, Eddie Life is like a railroad track that leads to many junctures, if you stand on the track Love comes speeding along and runs you over!! Splat!!!!
