your passionate heart

your passionate heart, my world to subdue
your roving heart, my soul to besiege
i wander not on the shores of adultery
nor do i tramp about in oblivion to my vanity
but yield to thine conquest, abruptly!

your presence to forever erode
my thoughts of innocence immured
the quenching of this ever earnest thirst
my world and yours forever intertwined
your eyes, with intent, arrest the exultation
that undefiled moment of guilt
your lips to part with mine, my soul to
eternally travel to the boundaries of your being

the luring thought of your nearness
be made no less than a rhapsody
to daily the closets of my heart will fill

How beautifully you describe such passion. Not lust, but undying love. Some things are so strong. I think a master hand is at work here. Loved the vocabulary and softness of the poem. It all flows.. it is music. 'the luring thought of your nearness be made no less than a rhapsody to daily the closets of my heart will fill' this sums your poem up very nicely indeed. no void to be left empty, simply because of thought... like some exquisite piece of music touches us. Always Sincere, Tonya

Nokros...

Indeed, this is written eloquently, and it even sounds good coming from my old country self... I read it to my wife, she said it was beautiful, and then the old "You didn't write it, did you." Ouch... but it's ok... cause I loved it too. Richard
