come to me

1.  come to me

just come to me, my Love,
unadorned,
let me adore you
as you are
let my fingers trace
the width of you,
my hollow space
the depth of you.

2.  who am I?

who am i to dance with the wind
make waves on the seven seas?
shall i pluck the moon from the sky
or the ripples in the lake?
shall i smooth the passage
of dawn in your dark-eyed desire?
shall I awaken you from your slumber
with a kiss,
break the seventh seal
with passion and promises
shatter the mirror
as we walk over water,
turn our graves into bliss?

How many are the ways

of loving Anna, but in truth they all become as one in their intention though remaining multiplicitous in their art. Keith

Keith, there is only the

Keith, there is only the feeling of love that comes and goes... for one person than another... it's all so irrelevant, isn't it to the chase, the seeking, the yearning, the want, the fucking want? ~A "The way you make love is the way God will be with you." Rumi

Oooh the dawn of dark eyed desire, I'm afraid that one got me Anna, yum! What a gorgeous write, sigh, you are as sensuous thing, lots of yummy lines here, glad I came to have a read, lovely. xx Anni ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "...We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? ... Your playing small doesn't serve the world..."

Coward as I am [in some

Coward as I am [in some things] I'll avoid personal [mis]interpretations and analyses. I suppose I should write presuming nothing but daring all, but caution stays my hand. I'll answer your question, though: "kind of go together, no?" They go together yes - a little like show and tell, less like a shotgun marriage than a love match [are loves ever matched, I wonder? It seems to me one love of a pairing is always stronger except sometimes momentarily and rarely] I've rambled, forgive me. I loved the language, the rhythm and the pathways you have opened for me. Come to me...

Is a poem of invitation, power and courage in a small package. The courage is in putting the intimate in public view and letting others be awed by the fear-eating initiative. Bravo. bjp
