Some thoughts from chat

These are a bunch of words that came from chat with friends tonight. Thank you all

A deistic god makes the world and leaves it be

a theistic god makes the world and interferes for all to see

a pantheist god is everything,

that's cool, all the good and all that's cruel

a scientist looks, thinks, and will eventually see.

There was a young man from the states

who was unlucky in mind altered states

he mistook fuzzy fruit

for spiritual loot

and his bowels suffered unpleasant fates

I care to make some serious points / there are many to be made / does he bless who annoints /

or is he just afraid?

more points for your consideration / is the soul enlarged by copious meditation

/ or is stress thereby discharged?

what is a mind for but to make up?

I make up with my own mind often, but it does not always accept the apology, teehee

[orgami] 4:12 pm: I remember Philosophy  We are standing in the dark cave with our backs to the light just starting

to feel it  To fathom the light

[weirdelf] the world is just shadows on the cave wall, say some, turn to the light or get a burnt bum

I call in the fire, get burnt, call in the snow and freeze, run to and fro, in colds torment and fires

glow. Running every where to play, wouldn't have it any other way

thanks for the chat, you know who you are,

love,

Jess

Apropos I think… Dear

Apropos I think... Dear Ones... (& I love both of you & your poems) "Prayers to Honor the Four Truths": Excerpts from "The Universal Peace Shield of Teachings" by Rainbow Eagle "Aho! We look to the North, the place of our wisdom. To the ancient ones who continually stir witin us our spirit of eldership, we say thank you. We thank the season of the winds of purification, the energy of endurance and courage to purify our resolve and motives. We send the fragrance of the sacred sweetgrass as we desire your presence, wisdom and guidance in our ceremonies. We hold tightly to its braids as we caress our Mother Earth in the changes that are a part of Her growth. In our prayers to the Great Mystery this Spirit World that lies in the North of the Medicine Wheel, we ask for your assistance to learn the Peace Shield, to use its power of truth to balance our minds and hearts and steps back to the side of the Creator. It is renewal we see, it is sweetness of truth that we seek, it is compassion, trust and faith that we seek. It is spiritual freedom in the sky of the four directions we seek. For the lessons of the Deer and Sacred gifts from the Elders Council, we look both far and near with eyes of faith and understanding. We lift sacred tobacco to all our relations of the Universe and place it upon Earth Mother. Aho! Thank you~ Yakoke Abena~ Thank you to the Door Keepers of the North. We look to the East, the power of the rising sun, where the Elk nations resides~~Black Elk and the Elk Nation Woman are. From you (East) come wisdom and understanding...You are the power of the Red Dawn and home of the Morning Star. We call on you to bring new knowledge and understanding among the peoples so that all our relations may live. You brought to us the Sacred Pipe (White Buffalo Calf Pipe) and the Seven Holy Rites. Today we again need the power of the Sacred Pipe to show us the sacred path. The power of Peace lies within you , that can open a flower, send strong roots beneath us, cradle us with gentle assurance of the great Mystery's love for us. Illumination comes from you to shed light upon our journey's path, help us to see in the night time, to understand what confuses us...we burn sacred tobacco as we look through the color of the rising sun, the yellow and gold, we have the power to awaken spiritual vision, growth and healing...Oh, the day break star that hold the power to awaken us. With each gift from you comes the obligation to use it for the good of all our relations. As we gaze into your sunrise, as a new day begins, assist us to carry out our plans, our resolves, to pray for new beginnings, even birthing new journeys and new questions...so that your beauty will bless our every step. Thank you. Yakoke Abena to the Door Keepers of the East. Aho~ We look to the South, the place of the most difficult lessons of life to live and learn. We give our thank you to the Spirit of Prophecy that prepares our earthly journeys, provided us with the trust, guidance, and courage to survive life's journey with hope and joy. To the power of the South we pray for healing and abundance, that the warm sun may bring forth the Flowering Tree. Assist us with your power of the Hoop, the Sacred Hoop of all the peoples, to lead us to harmony and balance as we dance together in the sacred circle of peace. Around the Sacred Tree of green may all peoples gather and grow; grow in our trust in each other and in the natural laws of the Universe We pray for the time to go out into the world, for testing our our ideas and methods, pray for the fulfillment of our vision and wisdom to be given to the world. It is through the gifts of cedar that we honor lessons of eternity and everyleasting love of you, the Great Myster... We place sacred tobacco upon our Beloved Mother Earth. Thank you ~ Yakoke Abena to the Door Keepers of the South. Aho! We look to the West, the place of the setting sun, that brings the nighttime. The dream lodge is set up to welcome the spirit messages. Here we honor the go within place, the womb of our first mother, where we honor our daytime lessons and growth., use the gift of introspection and we are completely honest with ourselves. Here in the darkness of the West, we let the brightness of the truth of the East illuminate the shadows. It is the West that holds the accumulated knowledge of the Universe. We honor the giftedness of Bear Medicine and the drive within us to seek out the honey of truth. From this home place of thunder beings, we welcome the life-giving rains of the storms that often unsettle us. In the West we release that which holds back and burdens us on our spiritual journeys. Truly knowing ourselves enables the healing process to begin. In the darkness we encircle ourselves with sage to honor our sacredness and give thanks to our Creator for being with us and at our sides at all times. Your strong words will bring us out of our solitude or depression, to go forth, rebirthing our specialness and our visions. Winds of the West thank you for self-worth. With your rains we nourish and water the beauty within so that we can restore our personal dignity and pride. We look to the setting sun with a smile for the Sacred Shells that appear upon our spirit path and the whisper of the Spirit Helpers to bring light to our shadows of uncertainty. We place sacred tobacco upon our Earth Mother. Aho! Thank you! Yakoke Abera! Thank you to the Door Keeprs of the West. http://www.rainboweagle.com/ The beauty is we all go through these *rites of passage*...no matter where, no matter who we are should we open to the journey itself. Love. ~A

Thanks Shan, DOA, Seren,

I love extemporising, chat's a good place for it. Life is too short for scrabble or Sudoku but there's always time for fun with words. cheers, Jess Forever unwrapping the eternal present.
