Oh I know that
"BEES AND BUTTERFLIES"
Bees and knees and butterflies
all in stripes and pink bow ties
flowers and bowers and April showers
buzzing round the Spring's gay flowers
tasting pollen from their bowers
honey here and honey there
landing on your fine brown hair
look a butterfly is there
bees and buzz and all that fuzz
insects too can solve the quiz
fizz and pop and flip and flop
lick the spoon and then wash up.
"TURKEY"
Turkey wobble gobble gobble,
chin and cheek and mandibubble
hanging down his face in pink
wonder what the others think
not a beauty, not a bore
follows Callum to the door
wobble wobble, gobble gobble
weird you are like colywobbles
prancing dancing wig wag wancing
he's a prude oh I know THAT.
"SNAKE"
Did you know that snow is white
Did you know the China hat
Did you know I thought of that
Did you know how long a snake
Did a dance across the lake
wiggle wiggle no don't giggle
he can solve just any riddle
while he plays upon his fiddle
in his big fat ugly middle!
"FISH"
Swish the fish in browning beck
was caught one day on a curvy hook
she eyed the man who hooked her up
and jumped back in to that there brook
she met a mate a fish like her
and eggs became a shoal of young
And now its time to end my song
Did you know THAT?
"FLY"
Handible mandible bangdible drum
he plays music on my thumb
you would think he's deaf and dumb
fly in your eye a buzz and a thud
washing his wings like washing suds
crashing the lights and window sills
till he finds that sugar spills.
