Precious time, we keep you
close to our hearts
locked in our minds
entombed in our souls
deep in our selves

As the day clocks in
the night clocks out
and time moves on
I mark it
I photograph it
I grasp it's straws
so it's etched on us

We're becoming the keepers of time
during this time
a time worth keeping
