MORNING SUNLIGHT STREAMING…
I light a candle in the dark
But only see
Shadows of me
Dancing on the wall
A lonely place
No kindness near
To comfort my fears
But
Streams of morning light cut through
And
Nighttime shadows slowly fade
I stay a while
Then
A subtle smile
Invites my soul to begin again.
