Garden at twilight

Flowers bowers rose-trees tall

secret garden, tip toe trull

perfumes dizzying the air

leaf mould sweet beneath them there

round the corner blaze of colour

poenies red like cups of wine

inviting you to come and dine

from the climbing twisting vine

hanging moose-droppings of jade

creating delicate dappled shade

by the stream and scented glade

when did I get all this right

over-glorious, wild delight

In the mysteries of night.

Ohhhh, the flowers....

I love flowers, so this poem was just too irrestible for me! I love gardens and flowers and nature....I'm a hippie what can I say??? I just love the sweet, blissful, peaceful feel to this...and it's short, which makes it all the sweeter to cherish while you read it! As always, a beautiful piece Ann! Moose droppings

They are such lovely oval shapes they can be dried and made into necklaces! Yes I see beauty in odd things sometimes, "in the eye of the beholder," what ? Ann of Norway

Beautiful

Colorful, clever and what a beautiful surprise to see, there in your garden, and yes, maybe the birds decided it was time to adorn their Princess Ann of Norway with the only gift they could. Beautiful. Love Lyz. XX

Thank you lyz

For flying in here from your gilded palaces in the stars, I am glad you liked my poem here. Sunshine in the northern winds blowing patterns of silver on the lakes just now. Love Ann of Norway
