Memories

Resentment is warm;  a familiar creature  consuming the forlorn Hate, hate, hatred from your eyes  feel the scars searing –  a testament  to what’s under their guise Their smiles - more like snarls  and you stare at their eyes;   blood pounds,    heart screams,     teeth crackand you bite, bite, bite it all back Do you savour the taste;  the blood of your tongue No fight,  your voice is silent –  they don’t care  because they buy it Breathe, sigh, disappear a bit more  strength building higher -   a force at the coreAnd then their acceptance you no longer adore

Isabella,

Very powerful and very dark, I have always loved the dark side of poetry! Great pain in this of hidden truths. This is the first of your writes that I have read, and I am impressed by the flow and it's simple message of what is hidden behind the surface! Bravisima!!! thanks, Eddie Life is like a railroad track that leads to many junctures, if you stand on the track Love comes speeding along and runs you over!! Splat!!!!

Lowly hours burning to chase dreams

All I think of is the self obsession that comes with my diagnosed depression the mirrors I talk too the camera that lies the Facebook family the snarl smouldering in all my selves the smile my mother adored Lost now with small regrets accepted so drop the battle I can come home no longer knowing just the sky my tender humility full of blue or darkened stars ebbed with histories

Feel the scars searing there is no disguise they're testament to hatred that flows from your eyes. Just playing in the stream Craig

hmmm,

I like the last two lines of your stanza a lot, but I don't really feel the first two, to be honest. I think it's great that you play with what I've written and I really appreciate your insight :) Thank you!
