Tantrum

You told me things that I did not understand
Things too hard to hear
Straight jackets and suicidal madness
What lingers deep within etchings on your notebook
Pen marks deep incisions
Razor graffiti
Are these demons available for conference
Or is it you they summon
Do they arise when over the edge of your mental cliff
Appearing red deviled
Invisible chains anchor upon your arms
I am force to restrain
We are both exhausted
You fall asleep
I lay there dazed and suddenly forgetful
Unable to comprehend the rage

I like this

I like where this is going, but I think it could benifit from some more work. Just to clarify things a little perhaps you could break it up a bit into stanzas. Line nine seems pivotal and could be improved maybe. Good work. Cheers Craig

Lepadah...

Welcome to the site... I thought this poem was really good, perhaps because I can relate to it... my second wife was prone to psychotic fits... but I can see how it could leave the reader wanting more... But I see a young person within the tantrum, hope this isn't too close to home for you but the way you've described it seemed real to me... Welcome again... Richard
