Rejuvenation
Rejuvenation
I fell off the Earth again
Was suspended from a thread
Dangled like some lonely spider
Hanging from its web
While out there freely spinning;
Ingested what the universe was fed,
Took in the solar winds and
Felt their comfort as they spread
I was immersed in pleasant sough,
A soft and lonely sound
Not unlike the hum of angles
Singing sunshine in the round
I was cocooned in cosmic light;
Swirling rainbow drips
Painted with arrays of color
From toes to finger tips
As I regained my mortal fiber
From the mystic cosmic sway
I climbed my string to Earth
Feeling all my burdens slip away— Tonya, Apr 10, 2009
