precipice

falling off this ledge
i have feared most

stability crumbling
so fragile
fleeting

on my hands and knees now
down
closer
present
useless

USELESS!

we hid out here
long ago
with Love between us
guarded
precious

no longer safe
any of us
room only for two

i jump

and you?

you will keep Love safe
