Dawning Daytrip

Crisp,
Damp,

A cool Silent suspense,
  holding a mystery of anticipation.

Eloquence renewed,
  dancing an age old welcome.

Calling with a tender kiss of promise.

Each dawn a daily encore,
overflowing from a wellspring of color.

Prayers painted within every moment.

Savage souls written in ancient patterns.

Feeling,
Learning,
  each awakening shade.

Birthing a Regal Purple Passage,
threaded by Lavender and Lilac ribbon's.

Ripening like a sweet succulent Plum,
cleansing the Pitch of night with Apollo's light.

An ever evolving Blood Mandarin prose,
punctuated delicately with Apricot and Marigold.

The Celestial waves of Aqua heralding
Cerulean and Azure Blessings over the horizon.

Every morning suggesting a golden purpose.

Each Dawning offering inspiration,
illuminating a fresh and new Day trip.

Julie

Julie,

loved this! So full of meaning (both of the double and the deep persuasion). My itsy bitsy point of criticism: l.10 would read grammatically better as : "Prayers painted within every moment". You have given yourself wings here

Julie, and I have not tried them until now. Fy on me. So taken up elsewhere in the labyrinth of this site and missing the day trip of my life in the dawning of a poem in the spotlight, so full of colour and magic thoughts, the rays of light from it should have caught my eye long ago and made it glad to be able to take part in your dawning day trip. Thank you for taking me with you too. Yours Ann of Norway
