A Country Walk

Taking a stroll, down a country lane
is so relaxing
Here,  there is no pollution
no noise
just  the sounds of a  babbling brook
trickling on it's way
and the sound of  birds
chirping and warbling
as they sing  their beautiful songs
All around
 wild flowers,
showng their beautiful colours
fill the air with their lovely scent
As i arrive home
i think to myself
what a wonderful walk,i just had

this is true, we sometimes

this is true, we sometimes feel so distant from nature, it's good to get back to the reality of the open doors. the reality of the earth, apart from the metal and the wires, the electronic leash. we are one with the babbling brook. we talked about this poem in tink's chat!

So pretty....

Love the imagery here, visions of a peaceful walk down an old dirt road out in the middle of nowhere. I live in a city, so this was very refreshing...a breath of figurative fresh air! I also like how short it is, it doesn't drone on. It's short and sweet! We read this tonight in tink's chat. Peace n love Katie
