exiled

1.

i wanted to be passionate
this morning,
just a woman
tender with surrender
for her man,

you are not here.

i watched the sunrise
make love to the earth
spread itself into a birdsong
of joy,

you are not here.

i am exiled.
you have no ending for this poem.

2.   lethe

carry my soul
across this dark river of tranquility

amoung the stars
i am a dancer
blinded in the light,
you rule this underworld
ebon archways
guide me

my love is a crown of thorns,
i am punished in heaven.

3.  my Love

my Love

you gaze
into my naked soul
i am not ashamed

#1

So very present- in their absence. #3. I used to call mine a gardener b/c once that experience was planted, it became a perennial. (5/5)

Anna...

We are lucky to be here with you... your expressive heart shines for us all to see and I am honored and humbled by the weight of your love for Michael being shared here with us in your exquisite writing... thank you Richard

I dunno my dearest moonman,

I dunno my dearest moonman, and perhaps it is good that I *don't know* some things. It seems shortly before Michael died, I was lusting in my heart, another man had caught my *eye* and took my breath away. Did it happen because it made Michael's death a bit easier? Or did Michael know, and so he knew I wouldn't have been faithful (I've always been faithful in the flesh). The extreme irony of the universe is that his previous lover, left him for exactly the same sort of man, same *profession* as the one who turned my head. Did Michael know somehow? Perhaps we would not have been Lovers-in-the-flesh, as it so turns out often enough. His former lover, told me the story that he knew she would be his *last*. He even indicated (which she dismissed) that he had only 6 months to live. And so it happened. Michael would often say our *Ka(bir) and Kailashana (Buddha-natures)had agreed to this long before we were. It's a good thing I know not. However, in any case, I am alone, and what Michael offered was a quiet life of gentility, I still wanted to be a recognized Poet & spiritual teacher, a world-traveler and peace activist (whatever that means). Now I am nothing, once again. Love. It takes all kinds of love to make *experiences happen*. ~a

It takes all kinds of love to make *experiences happen*.

How true, love is not just one thing it is a myriad things like the Milky Way, a constellation of happenings and latent joys that grow with the interplay of those that love, I agree with your expression of it here. But not that you are nothing, for that can never be the case, you have the power to move with verse and show your true colours in other ways than protest, you are a sweet and charming person and that is what the world needs, the understanding and guidance of things positive and good. A lovely tribute to a dear friend, yours Ann of Norway

Methinks silence sometimes

Methinks silence sometimes is love at its best. And yet I identify most with *poet*. Go figure. ~A "We have to try to get rid of the notion of time. Anna...

We can second guess ourselves into obscurity, I'm famous for it(at least in my mind)... but don't let it get you, to me and to many you are... you are.... you ARE!!! You are the kind of person that gives me hope for humanity and for being loved long after I'm gone and I'm honored to share this podium with you... Richard

That’s such a human trait,

That's such a human trait, isn't it my moonman? Thinking we are alone in our angst. When in truth, though we deny our *darker* feelings, we (at least poets ;-) know how to make lots of lemonade. So what can humans leave behind? Love? Words? Memories? Good Acts? Horrible deeds? Yup. Hugz of love, Anna

Is it really a year already Anna?

I am sure it has been a day of questioning whys and what ifs for you. Some things are just not meant to be i guess but we keep on seeking them just the same. A lovely tribute to Michael and i am glad lethe struck some kind of chord. Keith x

Yes. 4 seasons of my heart

Yes. 4 seasons of my heart have passed barely noticed.... a flip of a page... a shudder of ecstasy...a rage of tears...a rose of memory beneath the snow. There are chords when once struck, vibrate into infinity. Love is one of them. Yours in Love, Anna "We have to try to get rid of the notion of time. Not sure what to say here. There are many of us who suffer for what seems to be no reason at all. I don't think it is for anything we did. I became broken and then I became again.... don't stop dreaming, Patty
