Synchronicities

I say:
"Have you ever seen a thing

you didn't recognize

then it pops up

Over and over?

I don't believe in coincidence

but miracles are hard to come by,

And what's the probability

Of something extraordinary

happening to me today?"

-Or you-

As we go our separate ways?

I notice a word

a phrase

a scene happening

Over and over

I say:

"It ain't déjà vu

it's something more

maybe a warning."

And you laugh and say

"Baby, it's just your mind

playing tricks.

You learned this in psychology."

And I half-heartedly agree

I shrug, but

I know it's a synchronicity.

I know its God tellin' me

Something important.

In my mind I think:

Maybe I'm important

To God.

Maybe He looks out for me.

Maybe it’s a message-

That we're not alone.

"But Baby, maybe it's important..."
I say.

Nice, Sha!

It's amazing how we seen to see little "miracles" around, and how tehy do often mean something! We should b aware of the things around us, it could tell us much more about where we're heading and we'd see more of life's symbols. I think the questions in italics are powerful, and i like that you emphasised on them. We read this in tink's chat tonight, glad I did! Lol Great write! Peace n Love Katie

i know the feeling. i usually put it down to fate. thinking that there has to be reason for this somewhere somehow. you did nice job in saying how it is. never thought that it was happening to others. thought it was just me. nice!

I was drawn by this title

When I read Jung's "Synchronicity" all sorts of synchronistic things happened. Culminating in reading a quote in that book and looking over to the woman sitting next to me at the train station, reading a book of chinese poetry opened at the same poem as Jung was quoting. It's not god. It is the power of conciousness. Love your poetry. cheers, Jess Forever unwrapping the eternal present.
