Crystal Mountains
Tides of rescue rise and fall.
Still my death grip holds.
Steeped in solace of emotions unshared.
My crystal castle crashes upon rocks of false protection.
Jagged edges of reality spur my release.
Struggling to swim I graze the sandy bottom.
Tears of relief soothe fears of letting go.
In shallows fear flows back to the salty void.
Trust of self replaces stories of illusion.
Sweet is the pain of truly living.
