Shiva

Love
You have ruined me,
destroyed everything I am,
You have taken my image
and left a stranger in the mirror,

You take my Lovers
and steal their breaths,
You leave me with nothing
but this emptiness of memory,
untouchable ,
no strings of devotion
no signs,

Love
You are wicked
in your constancy,
You torture me with my desire,
bewildered wanderer,
I am imprisoned
in this land where fools
never escape

like this poem,
Love,
You are incomplete,
and I am undone.

Shiva is a Hindu God. He is eternally embraced by Shakti. It's the blissful dance of life. Much love my love, Anna http://www.mahashivratri.org/marriage-of-shiva-and-shakti.html http://www.iloveulove.com/images/ShaktiShiva8.jpg "We have to try to get rid of the notion of time. Well said Anna

How we all know of such feelings and such indignation at their coming and taking root in our hearts, so hard to weed out. You have expressed this pathos, this fire that under our everyday selves is the strongest drift, it seizes power over our sensible minds and paints the world in lurid colours, when there lie other things just as wonderful within the everyday simplicity of observing nature and the nature of man. There is no cure but time and even that is hard to implement when the whole of ones being is in tune to a hidden song that tantalises unrelentlessly, until at last its out of sight, or not, as with some of the famous people of our society that have never got over it and live in its heart-string-pulling pain of loss all their lives. (Berlioz was one-his wistful trumpets calling, calling to one another at a distance are his description of the feeling.) Nice poem Kailashana, from Ann

Shiva dances the universe into being.

He is also The Destroyer, unmaking in order to create. An appellation very apt for this excellent piece. Shakti assuages his anger and is his mercy, and his abiding love. She is long-suffering because Shiva is rather uncaring unless he thinks before he acts! But Shakti is considered the epitome of the steadfast wife. Anna this is excellent stuff. Yes, Jim,Shiva and Shakti

Yes, Jim, Shiva and Shakti are eternally united in the sexual act of creation. A vibration of One. It's been called the enlightenment of the whole body. ;-) ~ "We have to try to get rid of the notion of time.
