Questions
When we die, when the earth has perished, when there’s no more sky, when the sun has faded, will the heartbeat of Time still carry on?When the fish no longer swim, the birds no longer sing, what new world will the future bring? Will the stars shine? Will there be a dream sublime? What will happen to mankind?Another planet? Another Place?Into the farthest reaches of outer space? Is there life elsewhere in which to procreate? Can we transcend and sway this mortal fate?In what dimension does God reside?Do Heaven and Hell into realms divide? Can science put the answers within our reach? Are we blinded in the faith of what the religions preach?Did life ascend from the hot and deep –from a warm little pond of primordial seep?So many questions, so few answers, extrapolations made on the wings of “chancers.”These are the questions that I contemplate deeply.
