Dreams

I’m going to grab me a coffee

Then take myself off up to bed

I’ll lay myself down on the pillow

And investigate thoughts in my head

My dreams are always fantastic

I’m the hero the villain or king

My dreams are always amazing

I know I can be anything

But when I  awake in the morning

And reality knocks me for six

I get me dressed up in my overalls

I know I’ve got boilers to fix

But one day I’ll have me some money

And I’ll do all that money can do

One day I’ll have lots of money

And all of my dreams will come true

I bow to thee Oh King

What fun your mind has in the night, there are so many different absurd dreams, some have bad ones where they cannot stop the car with the brake. I too have good ones and am sometimes annoyed that the day comes to interrupt them as I do so want to know what happens next...and it is 'I' who am creating them, strange and intriguing! Nice rhythmical dream-poem. Yours Ann of Norway

Modest hopes

are all that are needed to keep you going sometimes. Nice write. ~Jess K. ---------------------------------------------------- -"The truth is, it doesn't matter what you do. 'Til you gaze in that mirror with an eye that's true. And admit that what scares you is the me in you..." - Steve Earle
