If i write this poem

the speed of light
is a thought held
in the Lover's Heart,
a vibrational pull
across the universe of sound
a tender shoot
growing
until it blossoms
into a field of flowers,
bouquets of melody
and oceans of colour,
a rainbow bridge
from I to Thou.

if you listen to the silence
of the sunrise
the dark night will pass
there will be light,
and the light will embrace you
and the silence will astound you
as it gathers in the heart
like a sigh.

if i write this poem
while i feel you
vibrating in bliss
will i know who you are
if you come to me
if you touch me
and open my eyes........

So beautiful!

How lovely is this one! The first verse is awesome, that imagery of flowers and the ocean simply resonate. And the part about light embracing you is so awesome, just inspirational, comes across as more than a simple love poem in it`s classic! Has a little more of an inspirational touch to it! Thanks Katie, Love (and its absence) IS inspiration, eh? Hug. ~A We have to try to get rid of the notion of time. And when you have an intense contact of love with nature or another human being, like a spark, then you understand that there is no time and that everything is eternal." Paulo Coelho

This has a simple charm

This has a simple charm that expresses the night with its blossoming and the peace of the morning after, such bliss as one lies there warm, next to the one you love, can there be anything to compare to that? Yet you question it and then the bliss is turned to unease with the thoughts of doubt. Lovely moment which we shared with you Anna. Ann of Norway

What else do we do in our lives but share/co-create moments? Much love, Anna "We have to try to get rid of the notion of time. Gathers in the heart ...

like a sigh. How rich the wording, the sentiment, the simile projected, and so fitting/apt. This is an example of how storytelling/narrating oughta go ... whether in poetic or prose form. Thanx, Chuck

Lol. Who? I’ve been

Lol. Who? I've been *wrong* so many many times... However, I'm learning to be content with sunrises and sunsets. ~A "We have to try to get rid of the notion of time. To the cynic, of course, and ...

to the one with a fiendish sense of humor, if I may alter your quote of Coelho at end of comment, "... then you understand that ... everything is infernal." Thanx, Chuck PS: Just now stumbled on a Georgia Douglas Johnson quote that may (or may not) be apropos: The heart of a woman falls back with the night, And enters some alien cage in its plight, And tries to forget it has dreamed of the stars, While it breaks, breaks, breaks on the sheltering bars. More PS: Would you prefer a question mark (instead of the period) as this piece's last bit of punctuation?

ahhh. Chuck.... love the quote, love the play on words....don't know about the ending, however.... it depends on who's reading...a bitter irony still tastes the same..... ;-) ~A "We have to try to get rid of the notion of time.
