Woe Is Me

Ha! We all feel that way sometimes....and then there are CERTAIN people here whose poems ALWAYS elicit stars and spotlights. (THEY shall be nameless for the purpose of this whining.) I belong(ed) to many poetry & yahoo groups... never quite know when & if a poem will float someone's boat... After my early demise, I shall be famous, I tell you... people will say "SHE'S ALIVE!!.. Lol & hugs... I've been working away from a computer 24/5 so it's impossible to catch up and I return to my personal hell tomorrow, after *negotiating*. Thanks for letting me vent on your vent. ;-) ~A

because for me the fact that a person is brave enough to put something together from the heart and post it for open critiquing is damn stalwart I came here from reading years of proper poetry from people who are famous I just couldnt write well So I myself practised for a long long time probably why I can create them so fast (although last nights was wiped out) Weirdelf I go back to him when he states its our responsibility to comment and to comment on the poem in honest terms to help better us as poets I see that a lot of people here know more about poetry the true mechanics then I do and people just do develop with more writing here and a natural voice evolves from them by either being inspired here or by writing style or intervention of spirit I feel quilty for not commenting enough and im guilty on doting on some thanks for bringing this important message to me once again I shall go back over your poems as I do when I need too to catch up on Poets thank you

this poem realy merits for stars. it is not that only the starred one is worth .shan

On all of the above, thinking, our gang is busy.... I have many poems that have no stars or comments. But the worth is getting them out there and that should make you feel better. Just can't keep up as I get older and the hamster wheel goes faster and faster. Look back at what you did for you. Read them over and never stop posting..... we may be famous some day........ smiles, Patty

Be very mindful of your own worth, It is all that turely matters, for when you are lit and on fire who will dare try and put you out, least they get burned sometimes we must stop, drop, and roll and put our own fires out but, yes we all desire to be seen if not heard this is a good write I like it but, who am I Sinbad /Donnie
