Lost in Nowhere

Lost in Nowhere

Is anybody out there

Am I screaming to myself

Can anybody hear me

Is the sound just in my head

Is anybody looking

Am I a staring at myself

Can anybody see me

Is the sight imagination fed

Is anybody feeling

Am I scratching at myself

Can anybody touch me

Is the feeling someone else

Is anybody out there

Am I seeing someone else

Can anybody touch me

When I cannot reach myself

lost in Nowhere

Tonya My friend you reached inside my soul I also ask the same questions of myself too. I feel so invisible to the world In a crowd I am not seen. I am always searching within and without but am so lost too. great write Electric Blue

ahhhh, EB… Thank you. It

ahhhh, EB... Thank you. It does comfort one to know they are not alone, even when we feel lost, I suppose we should know there are others, maybe standing right next to us, struggling with the same feelings we are. How do we take the courage into our own hands to reach out? And when we do find it, sometimes is like hitting our head against a brick wall for all that they notice. Thank you so much for reading. Least, you and i have now strung a line between us! :) Always Sincere, Tonya

In society

went to the mall and didnt talk to a soul and came home and thought wow a whole two hours packed with humanity\ there and no one said hi or asked me how I was Not like small towns where I grew up where I still can stand and meet and gab with so many it was a revelation about how you can move anonymous dissappear drift through people I still get contact though qa smile here or a qoute there from people spiritual guides I call them weak signals sometimes strong but we are not invisible we are seen and here we have a voice reading words thoughts fears dreams great write Tonya I try to imagine the great salt flats of the midwest and what the Pioneers heading west must have thought their wagons full of all they have known the great emptiness claiming all imagination come nightfall

Those pioneers, truly brave

Those pioneers, truly brave souls indeed. I do not know i would have had the courage to set out into such unknowns. (I would like to think I would have!) I think there was really a build up of frustration, in the poem, for me. Maybe it was a bit disjointed, but was how i was feeling. disconnected I always try to smile when my eyes meet someone elses. Most time, they smile back. just makes me feel better, and hopefully them to. You know, one of my favorite things to do, is to say something to someone in an elevator...lol, is mean i know, cause there is no escape for them. But, i like to see if they will respond, and how. Sometimes, we end up with a quick but pleasant conversation. er.. other times can be a bit uncomfortable. I suppose it is the Sociologist in me. Thanks for reading, Friend! and i know theres many that can relate.Glad you liked it. Always Sincere, Tonya

Thank you Nokros, maybe when

Thank you Nokros, maybe when we turn to our pens and write, it helps us to center ourselves. sort out little bits here and there. I am glad you stopped by to read and appreciate the empathy! Always Sincere, Tonya
