A Promise in Living Color
Let it rain
for only teardrops are able to cleanse the soul.
How very fortunate am I
that I CAN cry.
For, if I couldn't
I would probably drown in my own dust.
Situations can help promote that
and can move both, your head and your heart in another direction.
But, I will always refuse to lose the tint that colors my world.
For if I lose my ability to shade and blend my colors...
then, I would become but an eraser,
stopping the pigments from landing on my page.
I truly apologize,
if I've ever shrank any of the colors from your world;
and I promise you in the future,
to help fill your palate with all of the tints, that you prefer.
for only teardrops are able to cleanse the soul.
I truly apologize,
if I've ever shrank any of the colors from your world;
and I promise you in the future,
to help fill your palate with all of the tints, that you prefer.
