Here I Am
Here I am Lord,
broken and displaced
everyone I love
I seem to have pushed away...
Here I sit Lord,
so saddened and alone
without a hand to hold
just my shattered dreams...
running down my face,
and no one to blame but me.
Here I am Lord,
so full of anger and shame
and my will to carry on
is detiorating, with each passing day.
Here I sit Lord,
just wanting to be loved
missing my father
and my son...
while my girl picks up the pieces
I'll cut myself with the broken ones.
Here I am Lord
bleeding on the floor
submerged in my failures
knocking on heavens door.
Here I sit Lord
broken and displaced
saddened and alone
angry and ashamed...
just wanting to be loved
bleeding on the floor.
broken and displaced
everyone I love
I seem to have pushed away...
Here I sit Lord,
so saddened and alone
without a hand to hold
just my shattered dreams...
running down my face,
and no one to blame but me.
Here I am Lord,
so full of anger and shame
and my will to carry on
is detiorating, with each passing day.
Here I sit Lord,
just wanting to be loved
missing my father
and my son...
while my girl picks up the pieces
I'll cut myself with the broken ones.
Here I am Lord
bleeding on the floor
submerged in my failures
knocking on heavens door.
Here I sit Lord
broken and displaced
saddened and alone
angry and ashamed...
just wanting to be loved
bleeding on the floor.
