On the ferry

It's peaceful here - high up
above this ship's big prow  -
in a quiet 'observation lounge'.

No engine noise;
a mellow up-and-downy sway,
and seasick pills and G and Ts combine
to leave you floating on a gentle cloud,
as you scan blurred waves for hours
in search of dolphins and elusive whales.

A variation on a theme;
a way to limit pain?

Robert

will give this one a tweek as no-one wants to say, it seemed to be a lonely cry, probably that is why it ended up here in lonely poems, it was a bit broken and seemed to be un finished. The word in the third line needs atention ( louge’) anyway it's not lonely anymore LOL, Yours Ian.T
