warning shot
Here did lie a work of great importance.
That is until the forest blew a breath
and its fallen brother rose to allow it to slip
through the pain of protective glass and
yet another of its fallen brothers.
A gust of great evil entered my home
and swallowed this paper whole.
You see if I had another way ,
I would let the woodland stand
and pen my works in the sand .
But hell, recall that pained glass upon the sill.
Now I tremble, quiver and quake as I
resign my pen to mother natures will.
