A smile from the East

A smile from the East

Dying man he is
searching  for a cup of water
Water is there and cup is there
None is there to give them  thee
His throat and tongue cried for that
He is motionless as a broken idol
His wife and children are there to cry and
his friends and pals are talking there
His thirst and need cannot be expressed
He died with  thirst with their weeps and cry
What is there ? and what did they do?
At his last thirst in his last bed
Car and money girl and friends
will do nothing there
Your own will and heart has to be blessed
to have your needs in your last bed
He will smile from the East  and
He will warn you
If you realize  you will be safer

This poem is really very good, the flow is much better than the ones I have looked at this morning, and the understanding is easier as the way it flows brings the points in faster to the reader, Just the odd little stutter ther with a word that seems out of context as:- (None is there to give them thee) (His wife and children are there to cry and) No need for the and. (He died with thirst with their weeps and cry) He died with thirst as they wept and cried (At his last thirst in his last bed) As he thirsted in his last bed...(his) times two not needed (Car and money girl and friends will do nothing there) Cars, money and girls mean nothing here... (just make simple) (Your own will and heart has to be blessed to have your needs in your last bed) these two lines are great. (He will smile from the East and He will warn you If you realize you will be safer) ...this needs a little more information, as to whom is there in the East, and maybe a reference to direction can mean something different to those living somewhere else. I do hope that these bits I am putting on your work are of help to you. PLEASE don't in any way change your basic way of writing, as it is unique to you, and is really great to read. It is just the tiny things that need attention, With the greatest of respect ,Yours Ian.T
