Distorted Reality

Distorted Reality

Here, my whisper

Here, my scream

In this moment

There’s no in-between

No grey to soften

Sharp angles and

Jagged corners

Only harsh black and white

Hear my whisper

Hear my scream

Wake me from this nightmare’s

Cascading stream

Tear stained

Sweat soaked

Is simply a dream

Still I cry and shake

Hoping the remnants will fade

ditto what Christy said. It's pretty difficult to convey a dream in all its surrealness, but you did it. ~Jess K. ---------------------------------------------------- -"All day and night music, a quiet, bright reedsong. If it fades, we fade." - Rumi
