Unicorn

The story goes, so I’ve been told

Tales handed down from days of old

That when we die our soul migrates

And we’re transformed to other states

If that’s the case, when I’m reborn

I want to be a Unicorn

Ian, as far as I know this

Ian, as far as I know this is all my own, but, when you get to my age there is always a chance that some distant memory creeps in unawares, my poem "Hippopotamus" popped into my head and seemed strangely familiar, as if I'd seen it somewhere before, but I'm sure someone would let me know if that were the case. Sorry John

I was unaware of your Pen name, or other names you use, it was the name at the bottom, I was thinking you had put one of your friends poems in as it had the copyright and a name that I had forgotten you use, WOOPS ! A senior moment on my part, these damn tablets I must have them checked out, says Made from horse urine or something and just has the initials HRT on the bottom in small writing, You take care and great to journey with you, Yours Ian.T
