Through Psyche's Eyes #1 - series

Divinely Fallible (Through Psyche's Eyes #1- series)

Your eyes fell upon
My peaceful slumbering,
And your mischievous ways
Were finally repaid,
When that golden dart
afflicted you.

Startled by opened eyes
That while seeing, could not see,
Staring through you
As the wound was made,
And your fate sealed within that gaze.

Finding that you, too,
Were just as vulnerable
As all the rest of us.
For you had unmercilessly
Brought so many to their knees...
With similar, difficult circumstances.

So you remedied your plight,
When you had Zephyr
Swiftly whisk me away
Into shadows of darkness,
And within them hid your face.

My invisible companion...

Whom men and gods fear,
You dwelled with me in solitude
Caring for my needs.

Yet, curiosity feeds and grows
On that which is unknown,
My eyes wanting to behold your face,

But you refused,

For reasons of your own.....

Asking me only for my trust and love.

Hi Blue Halcyon,

it has been a while since I last found the time to comment on one of your pieces. I am delighted to find out that I now have the chance to do so on a whole series! Once again, I cannot give you the constructive crit you are looking for, because I think that this piece is awesome the way it is. Looking forward to the other poems in this series, ~Nina

I found this fascinating,

I found this fascinating, loved it because it built such curiosity, & possible answers to my curiosity were so fecund... that's a good thing to be able to produce I think... well done. Anni I wish to walk gracefully..... so as not to spill water.
