Angels

Have you seen the angel, dancing on the frozen lake?
She sings lullabies and dreams you to sleep
The sky moves to her hands,
And her words are that of love and so much more
She dances with the stars tonight
And glides across the ice

Have you seen the angel, walking in the desert?
She sings songs of lonelieness that would bring you to your knees
The sky turns to match her eyes
And the moon bleeds red to line her way
Stars dance high in the sky,
And drop tears to wet her lips

Did you see the angel frozen in the lake?
Her hair scribbled with the wind
She cried herself to sleep, scratching at her feet
She was stuck in a moment,
And cant take her mind off all that she has lost

Did you see the angel walk in from the sand?
Her face has been washed with tears
The painfull years of life she left behind
She once held the pain in her heart
And but she let go of all she had lost

Have you seen the angels,
