All's I See Is You

Whenever I go and visit
the library of my heart,
all's I see is you.

Wishes upon wishes,
hopes against hopes,
if only I could've captured you more precisely;

for, a photograph's too inadequet
to capture all that's seen and felt at that moment,
so, when I close my eyes, all's I see is you.

Never did I expect too much from you
but, I think now, that I should've from me,
and though my memories are failing, all's I see is you.

So, in retrospect
I do not apologize for my memory,
because when all is said and done....all's I see is you.
