as images once universal
fade from common folk
more tech antiquities are
stacked by garbage cans
nothing so mundane
as free access
is needed in
our land of pay
to be entertained
burn dollars to learn
feed cash to broadcasters
for your daily fix now
because without digital
you are a  Zetetic

Hi David,

I don´t know about this one, maybe expand a little? I think it´s an interesting idea, but it somehow feels unfinished to me... Then again, maybe my brain is not on today...I´ll reread it tomorrow and comment again then. Yours, ~Nina

This poem reminds me of what

This poem reminds me of what I see so often thrown away...the former newest high tech items just casually tossed aside at the curbs. On my very street I see things laying by garbage cans that once were there newest prize. It also reminds me of when I lost my free wifi connection.

the rubble of the din of passing

"took me years to collect those souveniers and somehow they all slipped away from me!!" Sung lonesomely by Arlo Guthrie.... saved so much typewriters jackets maps from Dakota from 1912 the gunbelts and canteen from 1917 the hats and photographs and books of poetry hawked at Library give aways all gone now shed like skins in hot summers passing gone like gilded golden idols atop fallen monuments to phases toppled lost to dune tread mirages and black night eclipses This is a sad but monumental poem you have written it touchs me at the moment in a very tender spot thank you for this
