Everything shining

"Everything Shining" Ann 8th August 2008 ( A day with a headache)

Everything is shining, shining, shining white

Wet with wet rain bright with light

The sun, the clouds of grey, then white

Are playing games for the leave's delight

Dressed in fashions fit-to-kill they stand there

Green with silver frill and golden hair

The mountain too is shrouded grey

Then shine the little waterfalls, they

Like witches hair all down their sides

Do almost look like Autumn brides

In white, the foam and spray they throw

Over the meadows down below

So brilliant, bright and lifting spirits

When thunder sounds the heads dead drum

Of aches and pains, they're all forgotten

In light so bright it dazzles the sun

And dancing leaves, all pain so rotten

Takes second place in everyone.

Loved it

I wish I had that view!! All I can see are cactus and sand! Snuggled up in PJs at the breakfast table sounds great!

a day with a backache...

my dearest Ann of Norway I would envy you for the view that you have but I do not need to for your poetry paints such a vivid picture that I feel as if I am sitting there at the breakfast table with you stirring a bit of philosophy into my coffee and sprinkling our müsli with poetic thoughts. your Proprietress
