REMINISCE

Maybe one day, you'll hear faint notesdancing in the breeze,A quiet spectral songand you'll think of me. Or maybe seethe fringeof a white silken ribbon,  Unraveling..... Revealing somethingin a memory,Of shimmery pink andvelvet maroon. Possibly,The emptiness might fill you,Like water rushing into overwhelm and drown;Or perhaps,Become an annoying ache, briefly before fading away. Though, what should it matter? For the past containsthe ghosts of yesterday.Harmlessly haunting usfor a few moments....  Before yeilding to today.

Memories can sometimes overwhelm the now, and make things unclear, sometimes bringing tears, of a few of our yesterdays. A lovely write, your today is now, Yours Ian.T

I enjoyed reading this. You

I enjoyed reading this. You are a gifted writer! "If I had a prayer, it would be this: God, spare me from the desire for love, approval, or appreciation..." - Byron Katie

Memories......

Are at the worst of times our downfall and at the best of times our salvation. I enjoyed this....good imagery and a different format. Nicely done! I look foward to more of your work! Kind regards Feebie Mistakes happen, do not dwell on them, live them, mourn them and move on to better things. (PS: if that does not work eat lots and lots of chocolate)
