Small Seed

So small now this seed

Buried in the frozen ground

Of my discontent

I'm especially taken ...

with a part of a line at your profile: "my writing is an attempt to mend that wound." As to "Small Seed": I suggest that readers following my time with it chew it slowly, savor it. There's much more here than meets first eye. An astonishing breadth of a subtle (personal) insight/thought undergirds. Wonderful that you can stuff so much into so few words. And coincidentally, I'm godawful tired of the frozen ground hereabouts. I mean the ground outside my window. Of course. Thanx, Chuck

Yeah, I am tired of frozen ground too.

Thank you so very much Chuck, it is so nice to hear that you have found the depth I felt in the moment I wrote this. Kristeta P.S. I love your work....it is full of irony and humor. When are you going to submit some recent works?

As to your PS, Kristeta:

Thanx. Sorry to say the harsh winter's interfering with my normal scheduling for library time ... where I have pretty much my only Internet connection. I'll get back to more neopoet time probably by late spring. In the meantime, I'm more or less just idling. (Idling, another word for stalling, as in a stall.) Yours, Chuck
