Faded Dreams

 I dream
            a dream Desert warmth
            in a Sahara dusk
Your figure cast in the sandstorm sun.
A mirage stains the air. A tear falls from my eye,
I fight… Yet gravity draws me
            to the ground I walk
The sands sting. A blistered mind…
A blistered soul.My soul is reaped eternally,
            I will not die,
I cannot die I breathe your breath.
I echo your heart. I long your warmth.
I long your face… LM 2009/02/07
