Police academy

When policemen do their training

And they’re in the policeman class

They teach them regulations

Then brainwash them en masse
.

The laws the law and that is that

There can be no exception

And everyone’s a criminal

Watch out for their deception
.

Well versed in condescension

They practice every day

To annoy and then belittle you

For what you do or say
.

They persecute the motorist

For the speed that he achieves

Because it’s so much safer

Than going after thieves
.

“Good morning sir, is this your car”

Then asks what speed you’ve done

You tell him it was thirty

He says “it’s thirty one”
.

Oh why do policemen have to be

The way that we all find

Why can't we send them back to school

To help reclaim their mind

Shaz

I saw this a week or so ago and thought it would have found some reaction as it is a fun piece, I know I should have said then but have lots to do, but wont see you lonely there. A well written piece about our wonderful Police, I don't praise them very often but if all they carry is pepper and a piece of wood they are our Hero's. If they bother you, just you let me know, don't know wha I'll do about it but it will be near to nothing, LOL Have a lovely day, Yours Ian.T

Ian, I’m not anti police,

Ian, I'm not anti police, honest, its just that some are overly officious and condescending and that gets right up my nose. Personally I think that coppers should be allowed to give kids a clip round the ear and be allowed to get on with proper policing, instead of pandering to all of the ignorant beaurocrats who insist on meeting targets and having all the boxes ticked. Bring back the old fashioned bobby, what say you. John
