Deficient Appearance

Specter, you have followed me all of my lifeMocked and berated me in my solitude.Behind the closed doors, you stood with DeathAnd life became the cell in which I was trapped. You smiled, as the liquid emotion drained me,A deluge that threatened to drown……Opening the floodgate,Washing away my essence,Leaving me with that white,Weak and empty feelingThat was rank with taste of rejection. The residual shakingResounding with worthlessnessDrew a shade over my soul. And you,The incurable curse, lingeredNo matter how far back intoMy subconscious you were forced. But nausea followed me……Filled with premonition, wisdomand knowledge of future events,As well as the behaviors of wraiths. Vampirical leechRising from the ashes of memory,Feasting on thoughts of manipulationHoping to pull those strings,Only to find that I was smart enoughTo cut them. Did you seriously think you could outsmartYour genetic protégé?

Thanks Kelsey,

for the correction on leech - I missed that and it can actually be either vampiric or vampirical - they pretty much mean the same thing. I was wondering how you interpreted this one - as far as who it might be about.

Misty

This is so well written I have neither comment on errors or wording. In fact the wording and placement are spot on I'm not even going to try to guess who this might be. Chrys

It’s about my biological

It's about my biological father who pretty much had nothing to do with me my whole life, that is until I was grown and he realized he's old and going to die alone.

Absolutely fantastic, Misty!

A very hard subject to deal with, but you have done so with courage and wisdom seemingly beyond your years! You have a rare and glowing talent!
