Wolf Moon Effect

Wolf Moon Effect  Wolf Moon sits like a haloed puncture,Burned into the sky,Surrounded by indigo and mauve,He’ll draw your soul inside. Just glimpse within his brightness,Don’t stare or you’ll be lost,He offers you your freedom,But what will be the cost? Inside his glowing borders,Bound by his eternal ring,He chants a melody, so softly sung,Just to your heart he sings. Compelling, drawing, ever urging,He offers out escape,Be careful of your returning song,For it may seal your fate. Another realm of realities,Exquisite in their form,Brings chaos to your surface,Releases you in their storm. All tethers to convention break,Severed, with no hope to restore,Unbound with infinite possibilities,You’re more, than you were before. Once caught within these boundaries,Of his cosmic radiant sight,All else pales, in the comparison,Of a Wolf Moons lighted night. © Tonya01.03.07

Tony, beautiful

and haunting poem. I loved this one with the exception of one line and it may just be me on it. I'm probably the only one who will question it. He chants a melody, so softly sung, Somehow, to me, it doesn't fit as it seems confusing. Does he chant or does he sing? probably me. *LOL* otherwise all I can say is vivid images and wonderful work! Respectfully, Rett: "Next time you think you're perfect, walk on water."

I do see your point...I believe i thought a chant more hypnotic, is a spell this entity weaves. lol, so, i don't know if i really wanna change it or not. Your thoughts and suggestions are most appreciated tho. :) Thank you so much for your feed back and reading. Tonya

Thanks Chris…i love the

Thanks Chris...i love the moon. I think, one thing that made this so..eerie, haunting, drawing...i could not discerne any features on its surface. the brightness was overwhelming and looked more like a big hole in a dark plane, that one could slip through. Glad you liked it!
