The Good Shepherd
There's the church
and there's the steeple;
open the doors, and see all the "sheeple".
I really don't wish for you to be annoyed,
but believe me, my friend
we are constantly toyed!
Something beyond our recognition,
is decidedly foul,
we need to get a clue, or maybe buy a vowel.
The Good Shepherd governs
I've heard it been said,
pay him no never mind, and it'll be off with your head!
We're all spoon-fed exactly,
thoughts shaped, subtly...
intended to rob us of our individuality.
Some "sheeple" can't see it
but, we've got something to fear,
and it'll soon be too late, that much is clear.
For we're taught to believe
the Good Shepherd's so kind,
buy into their versions, you'll want to hit, "rewind".
It's almost amusing
if observed on a graph,
we're being told what to do, when to cry, and to laugh.
The Good Shepherd wants one "herd"
with a will not so strong,
lose your will and your voice, and start singing "his" song.
And just like in the wild
nature'll thin out the herd,
by killing the stubborn, without saying a word.
So "sheeple" unite,
let your voices resound!
don't let the Good Shepherd steal all the voices, around.
become not, invisible
our thoughts must not fade away,
instead of brass rings, we'll jump through hoops all the day!
So, inside our church,
and under it's steeple...
there's vacant eyes, and empty hearts, as the Good Shepherd owns all the dead "sheeple".
and there's the steeple;
open the doors, and see all the "sheeple".
I really don't wish for you to be annoyed,
but believe me, my friend
we are constantly toyed!
