A

Evolution

I walked by the river tonight

Was held for a moment in reverie

Crescent moon

Venus’s beckoning light

Rushing water

Chilling wind

Spoke to me

One moment

Eternal

In entirety

Remember

Who

Stands

Here still

Revering

This galaxy

Of

Swirling

Entities

Movement

In harmony

I

Little one

Insignificant

Part of humanity

Cannot conceive

This magnificent

Work

But for

Knowledge

That all evolves

Continuously

Purpose is to

Reveal

Perfection

In one

Undying

Moment

All is

Done

Only to proceed

Toward

Infinity

Kristeta

A beautiful write, and will be received well, I find it hard to write in that way, it seems to vertical to me but one day will try myself, your poetry is very good and there are many facets to its form, vertical or horizontal they flow well, Yours, Ian.T

Seems I missed this one

and I loved it. Nothing more to say than that. I initially thought the layout would hamper the read but it didn't. I can really relate to that moment of being in nature & suddenly becoming aware of connections to something (everything) much greater than self & to find humility & a kind of power in that moment too. Kristeta...

Like Jo, I often think this sort of Layout of poetry detracts from a reading, doesn't allow the reader to form complete thoughts before it is going on to another... but this "Little One" was not only surprising but stacked full of wonderful lines... In one undying moment... my favorite line from the piece... totally enjoyed the read Richard
