Disappearing News

Disappearing News A curious thing happenswhen I read or watch the news, when I read or watch the newsthings seem different. The story bout the WMD'sthat were found in Iraq? Not ever mentioned again. Was it hogwash?Who knows? I thought for sureKatrina would causea second civil war.Alas, people lootedand proved their inhumanity. When I was a boy;a young boy, that is,when I was a boythe news merely repeated itself. Now it simply disappears. How short a man's attention span must be,to worry nothing of this inconsistency;or the factthat no one seems to spell or punctuatethe paper anymore.

This is an interesting topic

This is an interesting topic Mark, I've often wondered myself. It's funny how news loses its intensity (and people's interest) once it's not 'breaking news' anymore. Now then, what was in the news when you were a young boy ; ) ~Stella
