I've Got

I've got no one at home to come home to
except two out of three of my "boys",
I've got no chance of winning that game
because I haven't enough of the "toys".

I've got an apartment with all of the trimmings
I moved from my trailer downtown,
I still reside very near there
I've got a smile instead of a frown.

I've got a past that likes to still haunt me
but that's given me my memories,
I've got credit, and two kinds of credit cards
but, can't use them because of the fees.

I've got a T.V. with a hundred channels
and a computer to use, just as well,
I've got a faith in a Higher Power,
and believe in heaven, and also fear hell.

I've got my share of bad troubles
that my blessings completely outweigh,
everything that has happened to me
if I tally up at the end of the day.

I've got my hobbies of writing,
got magic, and playing music;
and it matters not, if I'm playing,
writing poetry, or doing a trick.

I've got such a wonderful family
and my life's had such an interesting plot,
so I write, though it goes without saying,
that I'm grateful for all that I've got.
